This 6 week group guitar class is perfect for beginners, age 9 and up who want to learn how to play the guitar and have a fun time doing it! This fun class is held virtually via Zoom on Saturdays from 12:30pm to 1:30pm. It's just $85 for a 6-week session and is taught by enthusiastic and talented guitar player/instructor Ryan Raines. You will learn such things as tuning your guitar, playing basic and intermediate guitar chords, scales, and songs. This class is invaluable for anyone who is just starting out in the world of guitar playing and wants to develop skills that will last a lifetime. Syllabus:
-Guitar/Bass Basics: Three Essential Scales. Open and Closed Chords, Basic Blues
-Music Theory: Chord Progressions. Basic/Intermediate Terminology, Ear Training
-Song Writing: How to use Theory to Make Your Own Song
-Learn Songs that we Decide as a Class
-Various Exercises to Develop Technique and to Build on Specific Concepts such as Soloing
