Experience Teaching: A multi-instrumentalist with a 15 year background performing in everything from coffee shops and shopping malls, to corporate events and worship services, Gary Mitchell has extensive experience working with young people of all ages in a wide variety of settings. Experience as a private music instructor on multiple instruments since 2001. Chief Music & Worship director at Orange United Methodist Church, Song writing class instructor at The Expedition Charter School, Worship leader at New Hope Church, Chapel Hill High Marching Band Percussion Instructor, Music and Worship Co-Director at Living Hope Community Church.
Musical Experience: Drum captain UNC Tar Heel Marching Band, Worship Leader, Chief Music Coordinator for Fellowship of Christian Athletics, UNC. Campus and community drummer, guitarist and worship leader for numerous praise and worship services. Classical guitarist for weddings and private events.
