Alex Wu is a pianist with over 20 years of experience. He earned his master’s degree from the Peabody Institute and his bachelor’s degree from Berklee College of Music. While at Berklee, he received the Piano Performance Award and worked as a staff pianist for a variety of ensembles, including jazz big bands and classical chamber groups. His performance experience spans Classical, Jazz, Pop, and Rock genres.

Alex has a strong background in teaching piano, K–8 general music, classical and jazz music theory, ear training, music production, and computer programming. For more than five years, he has served in a wide range of educational roles—including classroom and private instructor, tutor, teaching assistant, and outreach mentor—working closely with students from diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
