Single coil like sparkle with vintage output, and a hum-canceling split blade design to give you even sustain while bending notes.

The Vintage Rails is a single coil sized humbucker with a unique split-blade design that is meant to be wired in parallel to give you a sparkly, vintage style single coil tone without the Strat hum. In the bridge position, this pickup will be tight and crisp, and will give you lots of vintage Strat snap. For added versatility, its 4-conductor lead-wire gives you the option of switching it into series wiring (using a push/pull or mini-toggle) for hotter, fatter humbucker tone.
In the neck position, this pickup is great for all types of articulate rhythm playing. The vintage output wind keeps even the most clustered chords expressive and spanky. This pickup is a drop-in for any single coil pickup route.
Hand built in Santa Barbara, CA, the Vintage Rails for Strat pickups come with a ceramic magnet, 4-conductor lead wire, and are wax potted for squeal free operation.
application Vintage output single-coil-sized "rails" humbucker with the sound of a vintage Strat®. Perfect for country, pop, surf, rockabilly, blues, ska and classic rock.
description Vintage Rails use a unique split rail, twin coil design and special (parallel) wiring to achieve true, vintage, single-coil tone without hum. The sound is clean, clear and bright, with all of the "quack" you love in the notch positions. Though tonally similar to Duckbuckers, the rails design eliminates any potential dropout in string bending. Comes with four-conductor cable. USA Patent No. 5,525,750.
